Research and evidence
The Population Council is Link Up's principal research partner and has been conducting research on HIV and the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of young key populations.
As a member of the Link Up consortium, the Population Council employed quantitative and qualitative research methods to evaluate Link Up programme activities. It also supported Link Up partners in their review of programme activities, generating evidence about the issues affecting the most marginalised populations reached by Link Up, and identifying effective strategies to reach them. The findings have contributed to a deeper understanding of the SRHR needs of young people most affected by HIV.

Additional reserach was produced by the International Community of Women living with HIV in Eastern Africa with support from Link Up Global Policy Partner STOP AIDS NOW! on the violation of the SRHR of women living with HIV in Uganda.
