Organisational Review Consultancy Opportunity

Closing date: 18 July 2018
Location: Consultants will be required to liaise extensively with employees in the UK (and other locations) for the duration of this assignment
Salary: Daily rate to submitted with proposals

In 2016, the Alliance began a process of organisational change to shape a future secretariat (international team). This change was based on an awareness that we urgently needed to embrace the changing external environment, better position ourselves as an organisation that has a clear ‘value-add’ in the HIV response, and be able to deliver our unique interventions with less resources.

Two years on, the Alliance is looking for a consultant/consulting group to take on a piece of work to assess progress in implementing the new structure and ways of working (as set out in the 2016 Business Case and Vision for Change). The objectives of the evaluation are to:

  • Review the efficiency and effectiveness of the new hybrid, matrixed structure and the extent to which the expected benefits and assumptions around the new ways of working have become our reality.
  • Recommend doable actions for changes or adjustments to the structure and ways of working to further position the secretariat to help deliver its global strategy (current and future).

We are seeking proposals from consultants/consulting groups with knowledge of internationally operating NGOs, and experience of carrying out organisational reviews. Experience and knowledge of the Alliance’s area of work (HIV, health and human rights) is desirable, as is an understanding of organisational change and matrix environments.
