Senior Advisor: ICT Systems Analyst (Two-years fixed-term contract)

Closing date: 17 December 2017
Location: Our Secretariat is based in Brighton, UK.
Salary: £41,353 plus benefits of up to 16%

We are looking for an ICT Systems Analyst with significant experience who can play a pivotal role in the full life cycle of business systems projects (finance, HR and/or ERP/MIS) following the decision to invest significantly in 2018 to improve organisational efficiency in the functional areas of operations (finance/HR) and programme delivery.

It is an exciting time to join the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. The organisation is implementing a substantial organisational change programme and in this role you will be fundamental to its success, leading the delivery of a number of systems projects which will enable the Alliance to fulfill its mission to work with communities through local, national and global action on HIV, health and human rights.

Are you who we’re looking for?

You will be a self-starter with demonstrable experience of business systems analysis and solution design. You will promote best practice within your field of expertise and will challenge ways of working to ensure the highest quality and levels of efficiency. Your actions will be aligned with the Alliance vision and you will inspire the same behaviour in your peers. You are comfortable working in a matrix management environment.

The role will:

  • Lead the planning and the development of project deliverables for ICT systems projects under the change programme. The focus in this two year period will be on procuring and implementing a new finance system, HR system and/or ERP MIS, enhancing the current CRM (Salesforce) and improving operational, programmatic and financial workflow management systems.
  • Collect and document business and system requirements, contribute guidance and advice, assist with the development of test plans, and offer continued support and guidance to users throughout the adoption phases.
  • Ensure that new systems projects and associated data governance standards comply with the organisational ICT strategy and are in line with UK and European legislation.
  • Manage the scope, dependencies, risks and issues ensuring projects are delivered to time and budget. Ensure project management principles and approaches are adapted project by project.
